Why is this year going so fast already. In Jan I went on the SWQ retreat to Beer, Devon with a friend and had a fab week. The result of which was a book in which I chose to put all the things that mattered to me the most, family, friends, peace and tranquility. I'm chuffed to bits with it. With the fabric I had left over I made some inchies which I mounted on a mixed media board which had been colour washed and inked in hues of red, copper and gold. I love it and am planning a few more in different styles. Maybe I will do a tryptych.

Its been a while........I passed my module (phew) so onto the next one. My son departs for Uni in a couple of weeks so i'm delaying starting it until my nest is empty....

I have posted a pc that I made and sent to my sewing soulmate........There is a Goddess in us all just waiting to be released....I think I may finally have found mine after my birthday trip to Chalice Well in Glastonbury in July. My birthday treat from my fab sister. Onto my next pc now as it is almost time for my and my mate to swap cards.....I have plenty to inspire me having just returned from Ireland, a place I adore and where my family reside.

And so I await the return of my latest module of coursework and my assessment piece. Always a nerve racking time.
