My sister & I spent Saturday on a fabulous Silver Clay workshop learning how to make jewellery. Once the silver clay is fired you are left with 925 silver, it's very clever stuff, quite robust and easy to use. As you can see, it can be rolled, piped and stones can be set into pieces, though not all stones survive the firing process as well as others. Needless to say we bought more clay to play with at home, i'm going to have a go at making a ring! The stone in the cross looks a bit yellow in the picture but it is green, like a peridot. My favourite is the round pendant with the amythyst in, though the heart has a really beautiful texture pattern on it which has been burnished so it sort of sparkles when it catches the light.
